No prompt for proxy authentication credentials

I'm trying to connect to my fresh TF Service instance and test the migration of work items using tcmimport from within a corporate environment. The TCMImport connection attempt fails as proxy authentication is required, but there's no manual prompts to enter this.

I get the same thing with the Excel Team tab, so I'm guessing the same mechanism is in play.

Is there a workaround here? Or do I just have to attempt again outside the proxy (i.e. from DMZ etc ...).
