For our test cases, all our test steps, titles, etc. imported fine into TFS with the exception of the test description. I mapped our field "Description" to the TFS field "Description."

When I open the test case work item in either Visual Studio or MTM the test summary description is blank. Am I mapping to the wrong field? Is there some other way to insert test summary descriptions?

This is a long shot, but check if your test case template contains both a Description and a Description HTML field. The Scrum project template has 2 types of decription fields...
